ΒΙΟΓΡΑΦΙΚΟ

Ο Νίκος Ιωσήφ είναι εικαστικός που ζει και εργάζεται στη Θεσσαλονίκη. Σπούδασε γραφιστική στην Τεχνική Σχολή Γραφιστικής και ξεκίνησε την καριέρα του στον χώρο του εσωτερικού σχεδιασμού, πριν στραφεί σταδιακά στη δημιουργία υφασμάτινων κολάζ. Στα έργα του, η καθαρότητα της γραφιστικής συνδυάζεται με τη ζωντανή υφή των υφασμάτων. Χρησιμοποιώντας παραδοσιακά ελληνικά και ανακυκλωμένα υλικά, συνθέτει παραστατικές εικόνες που μεταφέρουν μνήμη, κίνηση και αυθεντικότητα . Έχει πραγματοποιήσει δύο ατομικές εκθέσεις, έχει συμμετάσχει στη Biennale Contextile 2024 στην Πορτογαλία, καθώς και σε πολλές ομαδικές εκθέσεις. Έργα του ανήκουν σε ιδιωτικές συλλογές στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό.
